Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect?
You’ll lie comfortably on a massage table while I apply gentle to firm pressure to your abdomen using slow, mindful touch. The session focuses on specific organs—like the liver, stomach, intestines, kidneys, and pancreas—to support detoxification, emotional release, and better digestion.
Each organ holds tension differently, and the pressure will be adjusted to meet your body’s needs. Deep belly breathing helps your body release tension and increase energy flow during the session.
I will massage your feet, head, neck, and hands to help move stagnant energy and conclude the session. The 90 minute sessions will also include back massage as well.
Will it hurt?
The treatment should not be painful. The touch is gentle yet deep, and I work with your body’s natural responses. Some areas may feel tender as we release tension or emotions, but I’ll always check in with you make sure you are comfortable.
Can I eat before my treatment?
It’s best to avoid heavy meals an hour before your session. A light snack is fine, but having a lighter stomach helps your body be more receptive to the treatment. You’ll feel more comfortable during the session without the pressure of digestion.
How often should I get a treatment?
The frequency depends on your needs and goals. For deep emotional or physical blockages, more frequent sessions—every 1-2 weeks—may be beneficial initially. Once you feel more balanced, monthly maintenance sessions can help you stay in tune with your body and emotions. We can discuss this further after your first treatment to determine what feels best for you.
